One of the reasons under5foot loves Yuppiechef in because they do cool stuff. And they’ve done it again.
This year, for the second in a row Yuppiechef is supporting the Eat of the Earth initiative in conjunction with Soil for life.
How it works
In celebration of World Environment Day Yuppiechef is inviting people to eat for the earth by hosting or attending a meal on 5 June and making a donation to Soil for Life. A great initiative encouraging South African’s to take a stand and do something in support of positive environmental change.
No such thing as a free lunch
As a guest when you are invited to a dinner or lunch on 5 June the catch is that you have to make a small donation which will go to Soil for Life to help them keep up their good work and get people who need help growing their own food and eating well. Soil for life is an NGO and rely on funding to support their operations including:
• Running Soil for Life HQ (Cape Town)
• Employing trainers to teach people about soil and gardening
• Buying seeds, tools and material needed to start gardens
What could be better?
Than a night out where you are served a delicious home cooked meal, enjoyed in great company whilst playing your part for the planet. Win win all round.
So if this sounds like something you’re up for you’re in luck – under5foot will be hosting an Eat for the Earth Dinner party on 5 June at under5foot HQ.
If you would like to join in the festivities please RSVP to the event on the under5foot Facebook page
I really hope that you will join in the support of the awesome cause. And there may be a little Yuppiechef surprise in it for one lucky guest too!
If you can’t join under5foot then why not host a dinner of your own?
