Brrrr, winter has definitely hit the Mother City. Besides wanting to stay in bed all day, the one thing that gives me an incentive to get up is a delicious cup of coffee. Warm and smooth, rich and flavoursome… coffee addict or not, you have to admit that nothing, and I mean nothing beats that first cup of Joe in the morning.
Weekends are for breakfast
Today being Saturday I think a little trip to Tribeca Bakery is in order. So if you want to know where to find me it shouldn’t be too difficult.
A great thing to do on the weekend is go for breakfast. During the week most of us are rushing to get to our first meeting, or to take the kids to school, or get to our first lecture that breakfast doesn’t really get the attention it deserves.
So come the weekend, one of the things I love to do is treat myself and spend some quality time with breakfast. What better start to your weekend than leisurely wholesome and delicious breakfast, or if you’re like me and prefer to sleep in on Saturday, brunch.
Besides serving one of the best cups of coffee in Cape Town Tribeca Bakery serve delicious breakfasts. Being the important meal of the day, this is one you certainly don’t want to skip.
A note from Pooh Bear – words of the wise
“What’s for breakfast?” said Pooh. “What do you say, Piglet?”
“I say, I wonder what’s going to happen exciting today?” said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully. “It’s the same thing,” he said.”
